Haiti Day 3 Good evening New Hope! Today we hit rock. Huge rocks!  The primary tools used were sledge hammers and pry bars. It is truly amazing what they must do to build a building like this. With only hand tools and determination they are able to do far more than you can imagine. It is inspiring to watch them work and an honor to work alongside them. We were able to get about three quarters of the trenches finished for the footers. We also had a special treat today. We got to see and hold Pastor Eddy’s babies. Kandy and Kerrie are very beautiful and it was wonderful to see them. Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray for the team here. Good morning New Hope! Everywhere we look we seem to find conflict.  There is race conflict, there is political conflict, there is conflict with authority, there is conflict between religions, and there is even conflict between forces in our environment.
