The Christmas Eve Service is Sunday, Dec. 24 at 5:00. The shopping is done, presents wrapped, and the family is in. Time to slow down and focus on the true reason for the season. We are thrilled to invite you to a special evening at New Hope on Sunday, February 16, at 5 PM as we welcome the Anchored Quartet of Lebanon for a wonderful concert. Following the performance, join us at 6 PM for a time of fellowship with delicious finger foods. In addition, we will be hosting a silent auction to help raise funds for Phase 2 of the children’s playground.
Join us for our Ash Wednesday Service at 6:00 PM in the sanctuary where the pastor will mark believers’ foreheads with ashes (imposition of ashes) and utter a variation of, “remember man/woman, you are but dust, and to dust you shall return.” (Ecclesiastes 3:20). This is a very significant service as it marks the beginning of the season of Lent. Lent is a time for self-reflection and sacrifice as we focus our attention on the many sacrifices Jesus made for us. It is a time for us to properly prepare ourselves to celebrate the resurrection on Easter.
Community Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 12 at 10:00 am. Egg Hunts for two age groups, games, bounce house, prizes and lunch!
Maundy Thursday commemorates the foot washing and Last Supper of Jesus with the Apostles. “Maundy” means “mandate” or “command”. Join with us in remembering Christ’s Last Supper as we are “mandated” to do.
Join us as we remember the last Passover Jesus celebrated with his disciples and recall his betrayal, trial, and crucifixion.
