Hanging of the Green service will be Sunday morning, Nov. 28 during the 10:00 AM service. We will decorate the sanctuary for the holiday season. This is the beginning of the joyous Season of Advent.
Christmas Caroling Sunday, Dec. 18 at 4:00 PM. We will meet at the church and need to leave by 5:15 PM. We will stop at Hearthside Living Facility to sing and distribute gift bags, then get around to a few of our at-home folks. We need your voice because we like a “joyful noise”, and you will receive a blessing going with us, we promise.
Sunday, January 29th; The Bethel Renaissance Blue Grass Band will perform during the 10:00 AM worship service. The Renaissance Bluegrass Band has plenty to offer fans of bluegrass music – great picking, soulful vocals, high lonesome harmonies, and great song selection – all melded together with drive, energy and enthusiasm. You will not want to miss this!
Friday evening, February 10 at 6:00 PM. There will be a catered meal served. Danny Harris has volunteered to cook the meat (pork and chicken). Please sign up and make note of dessert you would like to bring. You are in for a treat and don’t want to miss our special guest for the evening, “Patsy Cline!”
A Church-wide Clean-up Day has been scheduled for Saturday, April 1 at 9:00am. This will be a deep-clean inside and outside the church in preparation for Holy Week and Easter. We will do whatever the weather allows outside (mulching, flowers, etc), and in the event of rain, will work inside. All hands on deck! We will try to be done by lunch.
