Join us for our Ash Wednesday Service at 6:00 PM in the sanctuary where the pastor will mark believers’ foreheads with ashes (imposition of ashes) and utter a variation of, “remember man/woman, you are but dust, and to dust you shall return.” (Ecclesiastes 3:20). This is a very significant service as it marks the beginning of the season of Lent. Lent is a time for self-reflection and sacrifice as we focus our attention on the many sacrifices Jesus made for us. It is a time for us to properly prepare ourselves to celebrate the resurrection on Easter.

The men of the church will prepare breakfast for all the ladies at 8:30. There will be no Sunday School so that we may all eat together. Invite your family, and honor your mother, whether she is living or gone to be with the Lord, by being here at church on Mother’s Day.

We will have a brunch at 8:30 am to honor all the fathers and men in the church. Honor your father, and your Heavenly Father, by being at church on Father’s Day!

The New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church women's ministry invites you to their Women’s Ministry Luncheon on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 12:00 noon. This inspiring afternoon will feature guest speaker Michelle Sarabia and music by Becca Esses Bennett. Delicious catering will be provided by Jordan’s Catering. Tickets are available for $30, offering an afternoon of encouragement, fellowship, and great food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
